Install the Breakr Chrome extension
Install the extension that connects your Whatnot tab to the Breakr workspace.
Before you start
You need:
- Google Chrome, version 110 or newer
- A Breakr account signed in at
breakr.tv - Your Whatnot seller account (any tier works)
Install the extension
Open the Chrome Web Store listing
Search for "Breakr.tv Whatnot Connector" or open the install link from /connections inside the operator dashboard.
Add to Chrome
Click "Add to Chrome", then confirm when the browser asks for permission. The extension needs permission on Whatnot's domain to read your live show.
Pin the extension
Click the puzzle-piece icon in Chrome's toolbar, find Breakr, and press the pin icon. Pinning puts the status badge next to the address bar so you can tell at a glance if the connector is live.
Open the popup
Click the Breakr icon in the toolbar. The popup shows your sign-in status. If you are not signed in, click "Sign in with Google / Discord / email", finish on the sign-in page, and return to the popup — the status flips to a green dot.
If the status pill stays red after signing in, close the popup and reopen it. If that does not clear it, revoke permission from chrome://extensions, click Reload, and re-sign-in. The connector pairs the extension with your Breakr session on the next successful page load.
Verify the connection
- Open whatnot.com in the same Chrome window.
- Open any live show.
- Look at the Breakr extension pill at the top of the page — green means events are flowing to your Breakr workspace.
- Open
/connector-feedin another tab. You should see chat and bids landing in real time.
