Set up the shop and run the queue
Create shop items, mint listings, and ship reward redemptions.
Add shop items
Open /rewards-shop. Click "New item". Each item has:
- Name (required, under 120 chars)
- Description (optional, under 500 chars)
- Cost in points (1-10,000,000)
- Kind —
physicalordigital. Physical items use the reserved-listing fulfillment flow; digital items can be delivered directly in Breakr. - Stock — optional; leave blank for unlimited.
- Image URL — optional. Must start with
http://orhttps://.
Items can be archived (soft-delete) but not permanently deleted — this preserves redemption history. Toggle an item's active flag to pause sales without hiding past redemptions.
How a redemption flows
Viewer redeems in their shop
At breakr.tv/r/<your-slug>. Points come off their balance immediately. The redemption lands as Pending in your queue.
You see it in the queue
Open /rewards-shop/queue. The Pending group is grouped by viewer. Each row has a Copy listing title button that writes RESERVED @username — <item> — DO NOT BUY to your clipboard.
Post the reserved listing on Whatnot
Create a $1 Buy-It-Now listing on Whatnot using the title you just copied. Use the Copy description button to paste the matching product description (uses your product-description template).
Mark as listed
Paste the Whatnot listing URL into the input next to the queue row and click "Mark listed". The row moves to the Listed group so you can tell what is still waiting for the viewer to buy vs. still needs to be posted.
Viewer buys the $1 listing
They pay $1, Whatnot captures the shipping address through its normal checkout flow. You get a sale notification like any other Whatnot sale.
Ship via Whatnot's label
Print the Whatnot shipping label. Ship the real reward item in the package (not the $1 token). Mark the row as "Fulfilled" in Breakr once shipped.
Status model
- Pending — redemption posted, listing not yet created on Whatnot.
- Listed — Whatnot listing posted, waiting for the viewer to buy and for you to ship.
- Fulfilled — shipped. The redemption closes.
- Canceled — you refunded the points and restocked the item.
Transitions are safe against double-clicks and race conditions. A canceled redemption refunds the viewer's points and restores stock (if the item tracked stock). A fulfilled redemption cannot be reopened — recreate it if you shipped a replacement.
Whatnot charges sellers $3 or 3% of the order (whichever is greater) on seller-initiated cancels. Buyer-initiated cancels are exempt. If someone other than the named viewer buys your reserved listing, DM them and ask them to cancel through Whatnot's own cancel flow — that avoids the $3 fee.
